During school i was always uncertain on what i wanted to do, being 13 and choosing your options for your career was very daunting. I started learning Hair & Beauty in year 9, which i then went along to have a Saturday job too. I knew hairdressing was something i wanted to do but taking your own path was very scary but part of growing up. I remember my mum dragging me round John Leggot College and i physically wanted to stick pins in my eyes while being there it was so awfully boring, i was the only person in my year who wanted to do hairdressing, i was so nervous about my interview at The Bank, i remember watching the other stylists and i found it so inspiring, everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere in the salon was so comforting, i’ve been at The Bank for a year now and it i’ve met some amazing friends i will cherish for life and I have learnt so much in the space of a year i wouldn’t of imagined where i am now, i cannot wait to learn more and more! I am so grateful
