So I was at secondary school and went to a careers evening at the baths hall. Believe it or not I always wanted to be a solicitor ( until I made a total fool out of myself!) we went up to a solicitors stall at the careers evening and the lady asked if she could help me, I replied “I really want to get into soliciting!” I was then made aware what soliciting meant and quickly walked away.
I then got a Saturday girl job at the local hairdressers and instantly fell in love with it I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. I used go there afterschool and saturdays until I left school and then started an apprenticeship.
After I qualified I moved to another salon in Brigg which after some time of working there I actually bought and owned for 4 years! Due do family issues I gave the salon up and 4 years ago made the best move of my life to the Bank hairdressing which I love. After 16 years of hairdressing I’m still in love with my job probably more ever.
My main passion is colour and I am a certified Wella Master Colour Expert. But I also really love Training our apprentices.
It really doesn’t feel like work when you work with your best-friends we are literally one big family.
