How I got into hairdressing…
… All the way through school I had to the plan to go to college and then to university but after doing nearly 3 years at sixth form I realised I did not have the patience for another few years of education at university. After that I applied for LOTS of apprenticeships and jobs including being a post woman. A hairdressing apprenticeship was the first job that came back to me and after my mum telling me she thought I would always be a hairdresser I decided to go for it. Now 4 years on I work at the Bank Hairdressing and met some people I can say I will be friends with for life!
Some of my favourite bits is the feeling of relief when the Christmas rush is over or when we all go a little bit mad on a Thursday night after a long day.
My most favourite bit of hairdressing is definitely highlighting.
